A Legacy of HVAC Excellence Since 1961

In 1955 Army veteran Harley Morrison opened a small heating, air conditioning, and appliance repair shop on Greene Street in downtown Marietta, Ohio. Then, in 1961, he recruited his Carrier sales representative and fellow Army veteran, Edwin “Jack” Haas, to partner with him, and together they incorporated to form Morrison, Inc. In short order, they expanded the business and constructed a sales and service complex at 410 Colegate Drive in Marietta, where we remain to this day. Our company’s first motto, “Service Comes First Here,” reflected our customer-driven dedication.

A Second Generation Building on the Foundation

In 1979, our company welcomed its second generation with the addition of Harley’s son, Ken. And in 1983, Jack’s son, David, joined Morrison, Inc. Under Ken and David’s leadership, the business has continued to grow. Now Morrison, Inc. provides service and installation for residential, commercial, and industrial customers throughout our region. We offer a range of services from the basics of HVAC to difficult technical solutions for a host of industries. We can provide indoor air quality (IAQ) improvements for homes and businesses, duct cleaning, and process-specific ventilation, chiller, and energy management solutions for industry. We also employ a full sheet metal construction shop with a computer-aided design plasma cutting table.

Continuing the family tradition into the third generation is Ken’s stepson, Chase Hughes, who currently serves as vice president for development of our commercial business. Additionally, David’s daughter, Reagan, has also joined the business and serves as residential customer services manager and marketing support.
